What started as a small dance gala five years ago, at the Pabellón Theatre in Cabo San Lucas, has grown into a revolutionary Gala that has changed the audience's eye of what is possible. Gala de Danza has become a global amphitheatre with the collaboration of the visionary architect Miguel Aragonés' unique Hotel Mar Adentro, now Viceroy Los Cabos, in San José del Cabo. The lines and movement of dance marry perfectly with the infinite angles and simplicity of Viceroy Los Cabos. The backdrop becomes equal with the Gala de Danza artists and expresses the endless possibilities of every genre of dance.

In its fifth year, GDD sees some of the world's most talented artists travel from across the globe to México for a music and dance festival. Held in the picturesque Los Cabos, the Mar Adentro Hotel played host this year, embodying the artistry and beauty of the gala. GDD helps to enrich the community by donating part of the proceeds to local children.
