ABOUT
Making History with a Global Amphitheater
Gala de Danza is an international festival comprising music, art, dance and fashion that are collectively intertwined to create beautiful artistry in extraordinary places. Established in Los Cabos, Mexico in 2013, it has since grown into a revolutionary celebration of talent. An undeniably unique event which surprises, enchants and transcends the theatrical experience, Gala de Danza began with the intention of bringing together established artists from around the world in addition to discovering the next generation of talent. Since then, it has attracted an enthusiastic following of arts aficionados, celebrities and patrons.
With each year that passes, collaborations between talented artists continue to grow; Derek Hough (Emmy Award Winning choreographer, Dancing with the Stars), Sammy Hagar (Grammy Award Winner & Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Legend), Tate McRae (International award winning singer/songwriter), Tiler Peck (principal with New York City Ballet), Lil Buck (International performing artist), Melissa Hamilton (Royal Ballet), Cesar Corrales (principal with Royal Ballet), David Lomeli (Placido Domingo's protege and gifted tenor), Jorge Viladoms (concert pianist and GQ's Musician of the Year), Josie Walsh (Artistic Director of BalletRED and Joffrey Ballet School Los Angeles & San Francisco), Misty Copeland (principal with American Ballet Theatre), Ekaterina Kondaurova (principal with Mariinsky Ballet), Daniel Ulbricht (principal with New York City Ballet), Yulia Zagoruychenko & Riccardo Cocchi (Six-Time World Latin Ballroom Champions) and Youth America Grand Prix finalists, just to name a few. Gala de Danza believes in collaborations and diversity within all forms of the performing arts, giving way for the future development of a music and dance festival.
Gracing astonishing venues such as the architectural award-winning Viceroy Los Cabos hotel, Gala de Danza accentuates extraordinary spaces by introducing the joy of music and motion. Staying true to its tradition of championing diversity within the performing arts, Gala de Danza presents a sparkling repertoire to London's rich theatrical sphere. Gala de Danza is now poised to set the global stage by bringing the production to London, England. Future productions are also in the works as well in the Middle East and Egypt.
